Ys, every rental is automatically insured up to 30’000! The coverage applies to bodily injury or property damages for which the lender or borrower is liable under statutory provisions. Our policy covers all rented items, except for studios, apartments, vehicles and drones heavier than 5 kg. Theft is not insured. You can find more information on insurance.beazy.co.

Insurance

Yes, pictures are very important. Aside from showing that you really own the item, it also shows in what condition it is. Photos are a major factor to improve rentals frequency, as listings with pictures get rented considerably more often than those without.
The “replacement value” refers to the current price of your equipment and how much it would cost to replace.

We put a lot of effort into making sure that the people sharing through Beazy are trustworthy, but you should always make sure by yourself. Say no. We will only be able to help you in case something goes wrong if the transaction has been processed through Beazy. It is very important to keep as much as your conversations and transactions on Beazy, otherwise our insurance policy won’t cover you. We also won’t be able to know what happened and no contract will bind your renter and yourself.

We take a 20% transaction fee on each rental, which already includes insurance coverage for each transaction.

This has to be discussed between you and the owner of said gear.
You will be charged as soon as you make a rental request but Beazy keeps your money in escrow until both you and the owner mark the order as completed.
Please contact both the owner and the Beazy team as soon as possible. We will try our best to find an alternative so that you can still shoot and will investigate the situation to determine if it was intentional or not.

Feel free to ask for more information, pictures, contact information, etc. Always ask for the details of the shooting, the number of people who will join, and always require the renters to their own liability insurance.
